Getting Stuff Off?

I was set up last night. My girlfriend invited me over to her place and I expected a quiet evening. Half a dozen of her girlfriends were there including the girl I've been seeing on the side. They jumped me and totally trashed me. I spent most of the evening tied to a tree in drag, but they tried to make things more permanent. They put long lasting lipstick and waterproof makeup on me and broke the zipper on the dress they put me in. They even put tiny locks through the straps in my shoes. With effort I got untied this morning and got most everything off with a scissors or scrubbing. The two things I can't get off are these long fake nails which they glued on and this wig. They used a crochet needle to thread my hair into the wig. I know what they did is illegal and they will regret it, but my main concerns are getting the wig and nails off. Then I'm going to do something about the pictures. Any ideas?

Getting Stuff Off?
If this is for real, I feel sorry for you, but maybe your girlfriend found out you were cheating on her and decided to do something about it?

To get the nails off, soak them in either straight acetone (available at beauty supply stores) or nail polish remover with acetone in it. For the wig, the best suggestion I can give you is to cut off your real hair under the wig so it comes off with the cut hair, and then go get your hair styled. If your real hair is as long as your avatar's, you may end up with short hair for a while.
Reply:You are still a ********. I hope you get beat up. Report It

Reply:to get the nails off soak them in finger nail polish remover. For the wig, i have no idea. go to a stylist or someone that you trust. lol

good luck
Reply:Nails, if nail remover dosen't work then go to a nail shop, since your a man I'd say beauty salons which also specialise in nails so you won't look a bit 'out of place'.

Hair, I would have to say at the hairdressers I'm afraid..

Hope you get them good! x
Reply:Karma is a *****.
Reply:Try using acetone for the nails. Cut off the wig patiently. Hope this helps!

cut your hair where the twig is... and to get nails off you have to rip them. the girls will most likely regret it... but it's partly your fault because you 2 timed them :] sorry.
Reply:wow dude !!!!

a good lesson from this to me would be don't screw around on your girl
Reply:wow, that's some story

besides all the drama that i feel so tempted to comment on,

soak the nails in acetone

the hair part, so sorry, hopefully someone else will have that answer

gl
Reply:You could yank them off.
Reply:LOL you deserved that hunny. i hope you're kidding. pfft. lmao
Reply:I know this is no laughing matter, but I'm sorry to say that I couldn't help laughing at the thought of it for a few minutes.

Hm, well, for the nails, you could soak them in warm, soapy water or nail polish remover or both combined.

For the wig, I'm afraid it sounds like getting a haircut is your only option. From the looks of your Yahoo avatar, you could do with one anyway! (No offence.)
Reply:If they get those pics on the internet, there is nothing you can do bout those pics.

But if u really were "seeing someone on the side" (aka: cheating) as u stated, you deserve it all.
Reply:They probably just wanted to get back at you for cheating! you deserved it.
Reply:Soak your hands in a nail polish remover that has Acetone in it. The Acetone will help to soften the nails, then you can remove them.

What is the meaning of this poem?

Robert Frost - Looking For a Sunset Bird in Winter

The west was getting out of gold,

The breath of air had died of cold,

When shoeing home across the white,

I thought I saw a bird alight.

In summer when I passed the place

I had to stop and lift my face;

A bird with an angelic gift

Was singing in it sweet and swift.

No bird was singing in it now.

A single leaf was on a bough,

And that was all there was to see

In going twice around the tree.

From my advantage on a hill

I judged that such a crystal chill

Was only adding frost to snow

As gilt to gold that wouldn't show.

A brush had left a crooked stroke

Of what was either cloud or smoke

From north to south across the blue;

A piercing little star was through.

What is the meaning of this poem?
First: I struggle with the question which implies there is but one right meaning to the poem. If that is true then the only meaning can be what the author had in his head when he wrote it. And we can't climb in to find that out. So we must ask what is the meaning we perceive?

Second, having allowed that there are multiple meaning we must choose a focus and search for meaning within that focus. For example, the title directs us to a search, a bird and winter. throughout the poem we find mention of a bird: alights, summer sings, and the absence of bird song now. In summer the bird sang in the warmth with angelic gift--now it is silent. Perhaps we find meaning in the changes in the bird song and the changes in life. Perhaps in the changes in love. Choose a focus and follow the analogy through the poem.

See if you can find meaning in the focus of how love changes in a relationship...at one time sweet and angelic, but now silent amidst a chill that only seems to be compounded. A cruel reality: a crooked stroke. Yet there is a little star shining. Hope?

So you decide, choose a focus and find the words that make sense with your understanding of life, love, pain, sorrow, loss, joy, whatever and identify these and expound on what they mean to you. That's how to find meaning in a poem.

Reply:Most cruise lines have the service that will deliver a gift to their cabin. I'm sure it will be a pleasent surprise.
Reply:does she have a collection? try to figure out and add something to it.

get her a present like a nice photo frame (in her favorite color) with a pretty picture of the two of you.

go to one of those pottery places and paint her a plate or a mug, it will be fun and personalized. (i love going to paint your own pottery places)

maybe even give her a gift like a "girls night out" go out to a fun dinner place, and see a movie with her, bring a friend or two.

Reply:Candles!!!
Reply:ask that person about what they like
Reply:Sounds like a fun gift. What about a cute hat, beach towel, or sunglasses for the cruise.

Personally, I would prefer a mug with a picture of something on it that I love or that has something to do with a hobby (since I would look at it so much).

It may be fun to put a picture of your friend and her spouse on the mug if you wanted to for their anniversary. Or, does she have special pet? Walgreen and other places can do it for you.

Whatever you end up with, I'm sure it will be great and your friend will know how much you care.
Reply:Well a 60th birthday is a big deal so I would get rid of the disposible and buy a digital camera

Nanny

Ok, so what do ya think?

I'm looking thru a box my dad just sent me

Filled with hand me downs

And things he once wore

He passed along his blessings and his curses

But Mainly scraps nothing more…no, nothing more

And I pray to God his shoes will never fit me

And I pray this isn’t my inheritance

His dirty t-shirts

And all his girlfriends mini skirts

Are the things I now resent…Lord I resent

Old man didn't give me much more than

Second hand clothing

But Jesus wants more for me than

Second hand clothing

I spent my lifetime dancing with his demons

They’re constantly comparing him with me

They tell their lies

As they look into my eyes and say

"Apple doesn't fall far from its tree"…and I pray, oh Lord not me

Old man didn't give me much more than

Second hand clothing

But Jesus wants more for me than

Second hand clothing

So I put away this box that I was given

Nothing in it meant that much to me

I have outgrown these hand me downs

And now I know that God gives me everything I need

Everything I need now

Old man didn’t give me much more than just second hand clothing

My God has more for me than just second hand clothing

Ok, so what do ya think?
Good poem...

The theme of 2nd-hand clothing fits the poem well. It seems you're outgrowing your hand-me-downs in the poem.
Reply:OK man I think you are cool and that you are on your way!
Reply:I dig this!!!

It read as a song. Is it meant to be a song? Great job. Love the story telling aspect. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and with that writer may have some of his fathers traits but everyone is their own man and with GOD's help there is always room for improvement. Great job!!!

Hung up by your toes while neighbor messes with fiance' ?

My mom used to say to me that if I got into something, she would hang me up by my toes...Years later, I put that thought to the test. I paid my neighbor, ( who I think may be seeing my fiance' on the side-but that's another story ) to hang me up by my toes. When I fell from the tree, I heard something loud pop or break in my feet. They may have to amputate my toes next week. I can't wear shoes or anything ! I am determined to try it again this week before next week comes. #1. Do you know anyone who successfully done it #2. Do you think he should be messing around with my fiance' after me paying him ?

Hi, when my daughter was little she watched this show about pirates on tree house. the song went something like this -- Oh how great to be a pirate free sailing the ocean blue, on a pirate ship with captin kid, no rules, no naps, no shoes... (then they went threw the names, witch i forgot!!!)

Does anyone remember the name? This is driving me crazy, it started sometime after 1997 and ended around 2001 (i think) She loved it and we are trying to look it up on the internet, but that can be hard when you don't know the name

Do you know about these excuses for missing work?

I tripped over my dog and was knocked unconscious.

I was arrested as a result of mistaken identity.

I forgot to come back to work after lunch.

I couldn't find my shoes.

A venomous snake bit me.

A hit man was looking for me.

My curlers burned my hair and I had to go to the hairdresser.

My brain went to sleep and I couldn't wake it up.

My cat unplugged my alarm clock.

I had to be there for my husband's/wife's grand jury trial.

I forgot what day of the week it was.

Someone slipped drugs in my drink last night.

A tree fell on my car.

My monkey died.

I had to move a tapeworm from inside me.

Do you know about these excuses for missing work?
Of course! Why didn't I learn these sooner? These are great, funny and true. Here is a star. I liked the monkey one too.

Getting Stuff Off?
Okay, poor you. Wow,, btu i knwo how to get the naisl off! You have to soak your hands in really really warm, almost hot water, for about 10 minutes. They should come off then. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PRY THEM OFF. It will hurt like heck. as far a the wig.. if its really really really stuck in there, chop it out. cut it all out, then go get a new hair cut at the hair dressers. Lol.. thats only if its REALLY stuck. GOOD LUCK.
Reply:Hahahahaha

U just got effed in the a on Saturday

LMAO!
Reply:Wow, that's horrible. Maybe you could try wetting your hair down, and applying a ton of conditioner to get your hair kind of 'slippery' to get the wig to come out a bit. For the nails - try to trim them back a big so it doesn't look funny to get to the store. Buy some artificial nail remover and cotton balls.

You may consider legal action for this.
Reply:You should really go to a salon. I know it's going to be embarrasing, but if you try to take the nails off yourself and the glue will ruin the surface of your nail. As for the wig, it's going to have to be cut out. And second of all, you shouldn't be seeing anyone on the side. It's not fair to your girlfriend, then again what they did to you is horrible!! You should really tell someone and have something done about it. However, are you sure you're not exaggurating a little?
Reply:wow, sick gf, i hope u dump her...but try some rubbing alcohol for the nails or nail polish remover will dissolve the glue, about the wig, if they crocheted it thru ur hair, i dont know what to say, u might have to cut it...

1 Vocalist's Lover?

2 A symbolic lover?

3 Jesuschrist?

Kiss me

Out of the bearded barley

Nightly

Beside the green, green grass

Swing, swing

Swing the spinning step

You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

Oh, kiss me

Beneath the milky twilight

Lead me

Out on the moonlit floor

Lift up your open hand

Strike up the band

And make the fireflies dance

Silver moon's sparkling

So kiss me

Kiss me

Down by the broken tree house

Swing me

Upon its hanging tire

Bring, bring

Bring your flowered hat

We'll take the trail marked on your father's map

Oh, kiss me

Beneath the milky twilight

Lead me

Out on the moonlit floor

Lift up your open hand

Strike up the band

And make the fireflies dance

Silver moon's sparkling

So kiss me

Kiss me

Beneath the milky twilight

Lead me

Out on the moonlit floor

Lift up your open hand

Strike up the band

And make the fireflies dance

Silver moon's sparkling

Newborn Christmas gift?

My newborn has it all. She has more outfits then the eye can see, some shoes, booties, blankets galore. I want to get her some things for christmas but not sure what toys are suitable for a newborn. She has enough necessities so i dout i will buy her any clothing maybe 1-3 outfits at most. She has a brand new travel system, crib, pack n play, highchair. So we wont be needing any of those. She also has tons of stuffed bears and dolls. I dont want to buy 1 huge gift but rather a few small ones to put under the tree with her name on it. I dont go out much so i do most of my shopping on ebay or walmart, and somtimes the local sears or JCPennys, and even khols. Can any one give me some advice on some practical gift for my newborn? It would help so much since december 1st is right around the corner. I dont like mobiles too much so I think i'll throw them off the list. She has a new winter snowsuit. I'm just so lost and confused on what to buy her. Thanks a ton everyone! - Angel Lynn's Mommy

Newborn Christmas gift?
A college savings account.
Reply:With my daughter, I bought something more sentimental that I could keep to remember her first holiday. A newborn does not need any material toys or clothes for the holiday. Find something sentimental. You could get a locket engraved and wear it until she is older and then give it to her. You could get a nice ornament to commemorate the year. You could also make a donation to a charity in her name to commemorate the season. That way another child could benefit that may not otherwise have a nice holiday. Yet another idea is check into your local zoo to see if they have a buy a brick program. You can often buy engraved paver bricks and have them engraved and then take an outing to the zoo and she can see her name and the year on her special brick. You could also do something with an adopt an animal program.
Reply:A scrap book. My sister in law gave me one %26amp; I loved it. She even included little stickers.
Reply:A newborn doesn't know the difference if they get gifts or not. They aren't going to be opening them anyways.
Reply:You could get a ornament with her picture on it for her first Christmas or a baby book. That way she'll be able to enjoy it when she's older. You could start a college fund. You could also buy clothing that's too big now, so she'll have new outfits when she outgrows the newborn size. Or you can get some toys that she'll be able to play with in a couple of months. She won't be newborn size for long!
Reply:The most practical gift for a newborn is diapers. If you wanna buy something for him to remember then you can buy a nice silver frame with an inscription on it or something like that.
Reply:Well...she's a newborn so I wouldn't concern yourself too much with it. I got my son maybe 2 things (a toy remote that made tons of sounds %26amp; and hammer that sounded like a real hammer when you pounded it - but he was 2 months old by Christmas time).

Of course you want to celebrate her first Christmas...so maybe a keepsake ornament that you can hang every year....or a collectable china doll that you can save for when she's older.

Or even simply give her something from your childhood that you may still have kept. Like I had a small toy that was given to me from an ER Dr. when I was little. I gave it to my daughter. My mom this year is giving her my Grandmother's doll that she crocheted the dress on. And last year she gave my niece my other Grandmother's China Tea Set. Stuff like that mean something, can be wrapped %26amp; kept and have more meaning that any ole toy you can buy on line.

And I NEVER buy clothes etc for Christmas...clothes are a necessity and is something they get all year round holiday or not. Christmas and birthdays are for toys. To me I always hated opening clothes up on Christmas and made me feel like my parents were copping out of a real gift because they ran out of ideas!! Just my opinion though.

And remember that little babies enjoy small inconsequential things. My oldest's favorite toy when he was small was an empty tissue box...great thing about it was that he got a new "toy" every week. He loved them.

i think for the first problem, the answer is 2.96 m/s.

Why should John McCain not support the war in Iraq?

Is it because Saddam was helped into power by the U.S. and then armed by the U.S. %26amp; then went rogue on us? Is it because of the threat from Iran? Because they went all religious on the U.S. after they booted the Shaw of Iran out? You remember the guy before the Iatolla, the reason we armed Saddam. Didn't the U.S. put the Shaw in power %26amp; then arm him too. Didn't we buddy up with Binladin %26amp; arm him to take it to the Russkies in Afganistan. Isn't that the weaponry that ended up with the Talaban, the human rights people. Do you people remember the CIA puppet Noriega of Panama? How about Marcos of the Phillipeans, with the wife with 5000 pairs of shoes. Isn't there a pattern with the Republicrat party, weapons, and the horrors of war. Now I'm well aware of some people being all GUN-HO but do we have to put them incharge of our purse %26amp; foriegn affairs. Do you think theres a terrorist under your bed and behind every tree? In the eyes of the world who is the bully here, who has the war-machine

Why should John McCain not support the war in Iraq?
Wow you tie all those things to the Republican party, guess there is no need to vote for any democrats then, as alot of what you listed occured when the democrats were in control. So I guess they are disfunctional even when they are the Party in Power and Only the Republicans have been running the show since the 50's anyway, might as well pay the Republicans for the job they will do.
