Reply:A would be correct. B. Acorns can be eaten but taste awful. They can be made into a flour which also tastes bad. C. Silver maples have very nasty roots that spread all over the place. Oak roots go deep and dont necessarily seek out your water lines.





Sentences 3 and 4 illustrate a strong comparison. I dont believe any of the choices is the topic sentence but the closest of those choices is sentence 2.
