What is the best to get rid of dry skin on your heel of your feet.?
get these rock that r rought and lotion at any heath store of beauty
Reply:at night, you can apply your favorite type of lotion and then wear socks over night.

this should help, it will take a few weeks to get it off. Also try pumic stones or a file.

Good Luck!
Reply:Vaseline is not good advice - contrary to what everyone thinks it hardens skin not softens it - (it's pure petroleum = not a good product)

The pumice stone is great (for the shower) - as is making a sea salt shower scrub. I prefer and use Awaken by Arbonne but make your own with kosher salt and olive oil and it helps dead skin go away and soak moisture in.

If your cracks turn painful try some of the lotions Dr. Scholls makes - and sleep with socks on -

also an herbal foot cream is effective. Bed Bath Beyond makes a section devoted to the feet - which is a good product. The more natural the cream the better but you need to work the dead skin off.
Reply:It sounds like you have dry feet. It doesn't always manifest the same in each person. They have these things..I think they are called pumice stones...They are in the foot care aisle of CVS and Walgreens. They are great for getting rid of dry skin without pain. If you use those and keep them well moisturized (I use shea butter because it's thicker) it should help a lot
Reply:Here's what to do:

1. Get some petroleum jelly and put it on the dry skin. (if you have a problem with petroleum, go to the the natural foods store and get a non-petroleum jelly product.)

2. Put a pair of old, but clean, socks on your feet so that you don't get the jelly all over your bedding.

3. Do this before bed.

4. It will feel much better in the morning.
Reply:Try an insert in your shoe that is softer than your sole. Dr. Scholls gell things. I would suggest soaking them in warm water with epsom salt and try putting lotion on and sleeping with your socks on at night. Hopefully a combination of these will cure it. If not you can always go to your local pharmacy or even walmart and find some over the counter medicated product to use for the problem.
Reply:The Arbonne foot cream is pretty good! I like Arbonne because all of their products are botanically-based. Also, their Re9 Body Lotion and Serum is good for your heels! You should give it a try!
Reply:There are actual socks which are infused with conditioning/moisturizing lotion. Get some from a pharmacy and wear them to bed.

Also, remember to heal from the inside out. Take more Vitamin E. It will help give your skin some additional moisture and resilience.

As a skin barrier, something on the "greasy" side like vaseline, Bag Balm, Make %26amp; Tail Hoofmaker, or Melkfett are all great to rub on your feet after a nice soak in the bath. Keep the moisture on and in your skin.

Melkfett is like a vaseline with Vitamin E %26amp; calendula oil in it...VERY good for dry skin.
Reply:get an actual pumice stone and use it in the shower to slough off all that dead skin. keeps my feet baby soft...
Reply:Use a pumice stone to smooth out the dry skin, and then afterwards apply foot cream ... you must do this regularly till it goes away though.
Reply:well....I use a non sharp thin scraper of sorts and after a bath after soaking for a while you just scrape it off however much you can as long as it doesnt start hurting. After all...its only dead skin.
